30-year-old Man arrested in connection to shooting woman in west Baltimore, police say

The Baltimore City Police Department has arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with a shooting incident in the Central Park Heights neighborhood of west Baltimore. The department identified the suspect as Larry Winder 3rd.

According to police reports, on August 20, a 26-year-old woman was shot in the 4800 block of Beaufort Avenue. Initially, the victim believed she had been hit in the head with a bat, but medical examination later revealed that she had sustained a gunshot wound.

After conducting their investigation, the police identified Larry Winder 3rd as the alleged perpetrator of the shooting. On August 29, law enforcement apprehended Winder and took him into custody. He was subsequently transported to Central Booking.

Police officials have charged Winder with first-degree murder in connection with the incident. The arrest marks a step forward in the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to address violent incidents in the area and bring those responsible to justice.
