Peek Inside a Historic Maryland Home That Doubles as a Wedding Venue

Charming Slope is a noteworthy five-bed, four-and-a-half shower home in Charles Region, Maryland. The first part of the Tidewater-style house was worked in 1761, and today, Travis and Tig Wright own and reside in the home. The Wrights — Travis, 51, is a specialist, and Tig, 52, is a Real estate professional — likewise work the property as a wedding setting.

The couple was discussing moving out of Maryland when this home came available last year, and they bought it and chose to keep close by. “We have consistently adored and valued old homes,” says Travis — when he and Tig met, she claimed an old shotgun-style home in Cincinnati that they wound up redesigning together. “We were snared!”

The couple revamped Charming Slope, as well, and live in it with their kids, Brooke, 18, Harrison, 16, and their felines, Oppie and Awnie.
